Is there a cell phone car starter available yet???

I would be real leary of such a product. I assume it has a code you have to punch in, but still.

i have a module that is made by audiovox that is called the CL-100 and it adapts with my APS 996A that i can call from my cell and make sure that:



a: where is it located

b: has the alarm be triggered since last armed

c: lock my doors and arm the alarm

d: unlock my doors

e: start my vehicle



when you first get this option you hook it up, call them and give them the PN# off the back of the unit and the vehicles VIN you then give them a user name and passcode (incase you want to change something) and you also give them a 6 digit number for when you call by phone.



so i call the number, give them my pn (which is all programmed into my phone to do automatically) and then i have to manually do my 6 digit passcode, then hit 6 to start my vehicle and so on and so fourth. its a neat unit and i didnt program my phone to put in my passcode incase someone stole my cellpphone and wanted to get into my vehicle as well.

You mention you have it connected to your APS 996A, is this a remote start unit, alarm or what???
