Issues de-activating autolock

I have been trying all day to de-activate the autolock feature on a 2003 explorer sport trac. I have followed the directions from the manual but it wont disengage. Anyone have any advise?

Try with door closed, or open... Try a different procedure... they are touchy.... if not exact, it no work...

I agree with Todd Z - they are touchy - I did a Google search and finally one strategy worked - makes life a lot easier now that the kids are older - I posted about it earlier

I did mine with Forscan - much easier!
