I bought my truck in 03 with 43 K on it. It will be turning over 400K very soon. The only replacements have been a radiator, fuel pump and an alternator. The truck does everything from towing a boat, moving my kids,It is like a best friend because it never lets me down.It has a few hick ups like one electric lock doesn't work but that is about it.The engine and trans are original.I use synthetic oil in the engine, which it still doesn't burn or leak.

That is incredible news. I'm approaching 100k and starting to plan for all the maintenance I'm going to do at that point. Good to know they can go the long haul if taken care of because I plan to keep this for a long time.

My '04 just passed the 7yr mark. Im ashamed to say it doesnt have as many miles as some members. It only became my daily driver a couple of years ago.

I have performance mods and I drive it like I stole it. A battery, tires, front pads and t-stat. Is all it has needed. The only thing broke is the unlock button on driver door. The switch is good. I suspect a wire in the door harness.

I just ran 10k miles on castrol full syn. A filter change @ 5k. Sent my oil sample to blackstone labs. The report came back good. The lab tech said, I dont need a 5k filter change. To go ahead and run my K&N or another filter of that quality for the whole 10k miles.

So I hope to do my fluids and lubes and keep my trac another 7yrs.

I bought a grease needle. I use my air powered grease gun and grease the ball joints and tie rod boots nice and plump. Hoping that helps their life. The factory says, they are greased for life. There is no such thing..LOL

I believe you have the highest mileage ST here !!!!!

If you can, please submit a pic for ST of the week, and a picture of the odometer and truck to us, if it is the highest maybe there may be a free hat or shirt for ya !!!

Man, I've been beat! I thought I was in the running for top original mileage at 262k! Now I'll never reach the top!

I have to admit that I'm pretty sure I'll hit 300k, and 350k isn't out of the question, but 400k seems like such a long way to go!

400k !?!

That's extremely encouraging to all of us "lower" mileage ST owners.

Mine just rolled across 180,000 kms.
