Well, i got my ST back from the mechanic. The problem was it wouldn't stay running without giving it gas, and my check engine light was on and the code read an O2 sensor was bad.

The fix: It was the IAC valve, the rubber elbow was Ok though, i checked that before I dropped it off this morning. They also fixed a plug on the downstream o2 sensor, and replace my fuel filter for me. Total: $310.00:cool:

I had my engine light come on. It was the O2 sensor also. Luckily it was covered under my extended warranty. I guess that and a few other things done on yours for $310.00 wasn't too bad. Might have been double that at the dealership.

Sporadically over the summer my check engine light would come on. When I brought it in I had the same issue, an O2 sensor. They'd reset it and I'd have no problem for a couple of weeks. Still haven't gotten it replaced and I noticed my MPGs have gone up from about 13 to about 17. Go figure!
