I just upgraded my audio system. Took out the factory CD player and installed a JVC unit. However I am left with a void in my double DIN dash and need some creative ideas on how to cover it up. I can use it for cd's, but don't really need to. I've seen some pretty ingrenious projects on this website and need all the help I can get! Thanks guys!

. . . . and if anyone has pics on what they've done to their dash, I would love to see them!

There is actually an install piece that creates a "cubby" that will also cover the additional space. Walmart and those type stores have them included in the install kits. Check Best Buy too.

I got the installation kit at Best Buy and it does create a cubby for storage, but I'm looking for something that will cover up that open space. The kit didn't include a cover. thanks for you suggestion, though!

Are you talking about covering the "cubby" so that it is just flat? I have seen an install kit before that doesnt include the cubby hole. Maybe check eBay.

I didn't know there were different kits that included or excluded cubby space. My kit came with the cubby and has already been installed. I would just like the option of covering it up for cosmetic purposes, but doing it in a way that won't make the dash look crappy.
