K&N intake finally installed....

I finally got this installed after ordering around $60 worth of parts from K&N. Looks good...not so sure I like all the intake noise. Was normally leaving a light the other day and on the shift it gave me a real quick WHOOOP intake noise and the kid next to me thought Grandpa wanted to race...LOL!!



If I don't pick up at least 1 MPG, I'll most likely remove it.

Is that a 4.6L engine? Was it difficult to install? What tools were required? It looks great, and I personally love the extra noise it makes.

My one concern is on WOT. The MAF sensor is in a turbulence stream after the first 90..

IMO, it should be on the straight run after the filter. I suppose K&N thought about it and it was ok. Just not the way I would do it.

Yes, it's the 4.6 V-8. Not too bad to install if you have all the mounting hardware and other things with it. Just need a few simple tools to remove the old and install the intake. It does look great....
