~ Kayak on an STA

SO I am really debating getting a 13' Tandem Kayak....only thing stopping me is that I am trying to figure out the best way to haul it to the River.



I have an 08 Adrenalin...(No roof racks)

What are my options?



I was thinking about just using a block of foam and cut grooves in it for the Kayak to sit on the roof. Then strap it down front and rear. Will this be secure enough?

Thanks, exactly what I was thinking of.



Where would be the best place to tiedown in the front since we do not have the tow hooks?

Those go in through the doors. For the front there should be a part of either the rad support on the bottom to hook it to or just strap it to the foam pads.
