Just to set the record straight, according ALL of the news articles I had read as of yesterday, Kerkorian has sold 7.3 million of the 142 million Ford shares that he had purchased earlier this year, although it is anticipated that he will eventually sell them all. He has made similarly stupid moves with GM and Chrysler stocks over the past few years as well.

I wouldn't read to much into this. He still has 142 millions shares. Plus he has publicily supported the Ford turn around program. Sometime like 10 new cars by 2015, mostly from Europe.

as of right now ford is @ 2.08..... Kirk has 133.7 million shares left of Ford. which sources are saying he is ready to unload.......

yes he backed the turn around program but that was before 2 chief executive left ford within the last 3 weeks.
