keyless entry code for 04 taurus

just came back from dealership with O4 taurus with keyless entry keypad.

dealership couldn`t find the code.

manual says it is on the computer module.but I cant see the code from the engine compartment. do I have to remove the glove compartment to see, or pull the module out from the engine compartment?

Please help.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to remove the glove compartment. May need a mirror though, I'm not sure.

My buddys SHO was on the insideof the trunklid. Try the link I provided. From my knowledge you should have to pull the glovebox out and look on the computer itself

The dealer should just hook it up to there computer and give you the code.

As noted above many of the Taurus's had the code printed on a tag in the truck. I have seen it attached to the lid as well as the spare tire cover on the under side...



I am sure it is on the module to. Don't recall where the module is though...

Where is the computer module. The manual says it is on glove compartment or on the computer module. I have no idea where this is. Can someone help me... Thanks
