keyless entry

OK. Just bought a 2005 Sport Trac XLS. It has the keyless entry pad on the door. Salesman told me that it was not hooked up because it's not standard equipment on an XLS. Not sure if he was pulling my leg or not. Anyones input would be appreciated. The manual says the code would be on the computer module. Where is the computer module.

I did a search and found this message under the title FINALLY FOUND MY KEYLESS ENTRY CODE I just now got thru getting mine, hope that it helps you.By the way it only takes about 15 minutes to do. Ron
