Anyone need to replace a worn or damaged keyless remote case?

If so, I was in our local O'Reilly's Auto Parts store the other day for something else & happened upon Keyless Remote Cases made by Dorman HELP Products [www.MyKeylessRemote.com] for only $14.99. My wife and I both needed a replacement for her Maxima. And yes I checked & they had them for our Sport Tracs too. It's simply the front case, the key pad & the back case. You use your old battery & circuit board.

Just thought I'd pass along the idea.

Lower price here, (FYI mail order from china):

I ordered the above an can attest it is indistinguishable from the factory fob case.

They also have the full unit ( but I have no experience with this item):

they have all different colors just search ford explorer sport trac remote case

Sometimes on parts like that. You have to weigh. the difference of price with local taxes. And the online price shipped. BTW the last 2 times I ordered from Amazon, they taxed me.
