joycie, no fuse, probably the LED in the pad assembly. My 2003 manual shows a light brown wire in and black for ground, pins 2 and 5 respectively.
 
Open driver door take rubber bushing in door jam off you will have to cut it look for the broken wires and reattach them put rubber boot back on and done. The wires are tight and over time opening and closing the door makes them break.
 
When you say, "take rubber bushing in door jam off" do you mean cut the plastic tie, and remove the cover of this piece below? BTW,
sometimes (rarely) the buttons work. I test them before I put my key in the door. They always activate the interior lights (either on the 1st or 2nd button push), and pushing the last two buttons on the far right activates the "lock all doors" function (like it's supposed to). I've tried pushing hard; softly; slowly; etc. It's worked twice in the last week (of the 15 - 20 or so times I've tried).
