Keypad problems

My door keypad will lock the truck, but will not open and doesnt light up. It does however turn the inside light on when pressed. So, it kinda works...

It has worked in the past and I have made sure its the correct code.

Any ideas on how to fix it??

When you say correct code, do you mean factory code? DO yuou know the code that is unchangeable?

Yes, I got the code right. But, the pad doesnt want to unlock the truck.

How do you get to the contacts??

You would have to replace the pad. The code is stored in the module under the dash, so that would not change. The part number is 8L8Z14A626AA. It retails for about $75.00
