Open filter style, Only replaces the OEM air box, and replaces the MAF with a stock size MAF.....
It is great for modifying the MAF larger if you can tune the truck and then just replace the front tube with a setup like the nocturnal design...

I installed 2 KKM's on 2 different ST's. One a 4.0 and the other a 4.6 I ended up replaceing them both with a K&N intake.

This is what I went with (in a way...)
I have the Nocturnal Intake (Zabteck product) with an external Filter/MAF setup (like the KKM)! Mine is a larger version MAF that I got from VMPTuning though.

I've had KKM on both my 2nd gen Explorers, and now on my ST. I think it's great for the $. I really don't like K&N's design for us. KKM were always a favorite on Explorer forum back in the day. (best bang for $). I really wanted Noturnal pipe to go with it 
I've got connections on a Nocturnal intake if your still interested!
It can be done....w/ Todd's "go-ahead"!
(don't want to step on his toes since I turned over the production rights to it....I'm not going to taek on teh task anymore, but woudl not mind making a few more for those on this site is teh desire was there) I still have a few weeks before I leave the country!

Todd might actually have one left.....
I know for a fact that he had one and he said that they did not sell any since they took it over from me....so he may still have that one left!? Dunno!?
