35's would require a body lift and a TT/shackle lift I believe..

Members here have lifted 01-05's already..

Hey Guys,

I just put on a new set of Axis Regulator rims with 31x10.5R15 BF All Terrain T/A KO's on my 2001 Sport Trac 4x4. I heard about a torsion lift and an add a leaf possibility. Does any know how this is done or if it is even possible? I called all my local 4x4 shops and they all haven't dealt with ST's. I think the torsion lift is supposed to be quite simple, and too add a leaf spring is easy too, but non of the shops know if there is a Add a leaf availble for our trucks. Help anyone? I only want a 2" lift max and want to keep this as cheap as possible

Thats great, thanks for the info on the "how to"! One more question tho, is it necessary to change out the stock shocks after lifting the truck? if so, any recommendations? I think my stock shocks are almost at the end of their life anyways, i'm almost at 65000 miles

Adam, you are about 66,000 miles after the end of their life. They were garbage when you took the truck off the lot. Anyways, you do not need new shocks after a lift.

hahaha.. thanks guys! so a set of rancho rsx's are a good set to go for then? would i buy the stock replacement ones or would the length be different after the lift? any other good brands? prices?

stock size is fine. i like rancho you could also get a rancho 5000. others have gotten pro comp shocks and like them i am not a fan.if you do a search on shocks you will get more info than you want to know.you can be different but most things around here are used by all members here and you will know it is good or bad if it recommended by several people their is a reason(pro comp cheaper usually missing hard where)

Thanks guys I did the lift successfully! I just wanted to know if it is necessary to get a wheel alignment after doing the torsion lift?

Yep, you need to get it aligned. And you may need to get a camber kit to get the camber adjusted within specs.

Below is a link to show you what a camber kit looks like....
