Would a pair of these fit and sound sood in a box behind the rears seat? Here are the dimensions:

83.4 DB sensitivity

frequency response: 28 - 100 K

mounting depth: 4 11/16

cut out diameter: 7 -5/8

sealed box volume: .33 - .75 cubic feet

vented box .66 - 1.0 cubic feet

Is there enought airspace to keep them from making a fart sound?

I am thinking about possibly getting an under seat box for them if I have to.

Big D, the mounting depth is a little much. If you are looking at a box inside the compartment back there, the depth is less than 3.5". If you are going to modify it to let the box come out past the compartment, yeah, they'll fit. I'm sure JDBoxes will give you better info.;)

Then, with the right box, "sky's the limit". Definately get in touch with JDBoxes and see if he can give you an idea of what box and dementions to build. The one I got from him slams. (8" single behind the seat);)

I don't think you can get enough room to port them properly but there is enough to have them sealed behind the seats if you remove the storage compartments.

(some others may chime in that there is enough to port them and that may be true but not in an affordable manner/something that I want to undertake as a project because if a ported box isn't built right it will sound like poop)

To fit those the box would have to be similar to my dual 10" boxes.

another thing you may want to look at is the JL Audio 6" w0 subs. i have 4 and noone believes me i end up having to show them. i understand i have an 07 but you have a bit more room back there here is a pic of my box.

Can't say enough about JL Audio Subs. I have a 10W3V2-D4 10" sub in a sealed enclusure under my rear passenger seat... kicks pretty good...
