Low Idle at Start

So I have noticed recently that when I start my truck, it fires up and then goes into a very low idle some times. Low enough I'm worried about it stalling. If I give it some gas, it usually clears right up. Now that it has been getting colder here, I'm noticing it more. I'm wondering if the fuel filter might be clogged. Any suggestions?

I bet it is the idle speed control. Someone here will be able to tell you where it is. It is a gizmotron with wires and a plunger going to the throttle. Clean the wires first. I have taken many apart and cleaned inside but I don't know if it is worth the money now.
