Not mine but was considering it seriously before I bought Hugh's center guard. The headlight sections on this one are removable. Kyle is a nice guy, needing $$$ for college tuition, and as much as he's accommodated my info requests I thought I'd post it here in case anyone else was looking for one. It's probably heavier duty than the WAAG or Westin either one. It sure looks LEO quality and it's cheap enough !!

Yeah for sure, around here we call em "Deer Catchers"

I am going to also put a couple of deer whistles on the ST. Guy told me you had to put them on the correct side, IE, they go on a particular side, right and left, did not know that.

I don't believe those things do anything except lighten your wallet a little bit.....

My ex-boss had them on his Ranger. i asked him if they really worked and he said they must because he'd never hit a deer.

He was a deer hunter too, couldn't seem to hit one there either!:bwahaha:

You may be right on effectivity of the deer whistles. Guy that sells auto parts for years said, like I said before, you have a right and left? Not sure of that. OTOH I worked with a girl that was a wild woman stayed on the roads at night drugging and drinking and stuff, she killed more deer than any deer hunter I know. Must have totalled 3 or 4 Toyotas. We told her she was gonna have to get a hunting lic to operate a car.

Met up with Kyle in Simpsonville. Very nice young man and he drove a great looling Gen I black XLT ST. Nice wheels and lots of option. The guard is in great condition and he was very helpful in showing me how the brackets went. Nice to meet nice people from this board and do business that is helpful to both.

I agree, nice guy Kyle ....... even if he IS from the "other" Carolina!:grin:

Willie, we fully expect to not have to post this again..........:worthless:

Since my Sport Trac is pretty dark with hardly any chrome I am going to paint the chrome with the Shadow paint that makes chrome look like black chrome. I will get some pics posted up when done. Will take a week or 2 as have to find a warm place to spray the thing.

Here is the Maap guard mount on my wifes 05 limited, Dark stone color, it is misting a little so colors not bright but it looks great. Had the chrome powder coated with tranluscient black. I think it matches awesome. you can see the picks in the first poast for comparison. It was on a black Trac in the original pics. OBTW the ST is a little dirty. Let me down scale these pics a little.
