Massachusetts health insurance??????

Ok,,, my son now has a Mass DL, a permanent address, AND A JOB!!!!!!.... Here is my question, how does the Mass health ins requirement work??? (His job is only part time as of now.) BTW, got the license plate/car ins thing covered.
