Why all the medical ads on TV now ?? I know --- money !!!

Question your doctor and ask why not take this medicine ????

Perscibed (sp) medicines are decisions made from your doctor. Now, the ads, tells us to question " are the the best ????". What do we know ??

We have been "knowingly" how to qusetion !!! (by the ads)

"Tell your doctor about any heart problems, or any other problems before taking this medication." Umm, I've always wondered. Doesn't the doctor have a medical file about their patients anyways? And if your having heart problems, I would think they would have been addressed long before the trip to the doc's office about the med on t.v.

Because it programs us to take something from Big Pharma rather than seeking natural / alternative / complimentary methods of healing. And the drug companies are making BIG money off those ads. Just read Gary Treaudous' books. The no. 3 killer of people in the U.S. is conflict of prescription meds.

the one i love the most is for levitra i believe where they say if u have an erection that last for 4 hours or more seek medical attention imediately..i told my wife if that happened i was calling every woman ive ever met in life....lol

Personally I like the ones like the sleep aids.... may cause dizziness, slow reactions and fatigue.... for a sleep aid?? No....

I like people to be informed, but I had a patient ask for a specific lens implant last week because he read on the internet that it was best for driving at night. I used to use that brand of implants, but stopped due to several defective ones. I suggested that I use a comparable one and that his outcome was probably more dependent on the surgeons skill, but he wasn't satisfied...
