We like 'em big. The adoption group likes us because we'll happily foster the big ones.

FYI for everybody else, females are smaller and usually weigh 45 to 60 pounds, males are taller and longer and are usually between 60 and 75 pounds. My own dog is a little bigger than average and weighs 74 pounds but I've seen them bigger, and not overweight either. Casual observation tells me they're breeding them bigger these days. We once had a foster who was a full head taller than my dog.

thanks for the link. i was able to get in contact with the photographer of our grey and she also knew the previous owners. she gave us some more info on our grey as well as more pic's from his first race. ( he placed first! ).
