I know this belongs on the events board, but I figured it would get advertised better here.

So it was proposed that we have an informal get-together/lunch somewhere in St. Louis (in Baron_IV's supercharger thread), And I would suggest maybe meeting at Dave and Busters at Riverport in Earth City. What does everyone think? Location? Date?

I can do St. Louis. Memphis isn't that far. I think we might need to put it off a little, though, given the Dallas meet and the upcoming holiday season...

We should probably plan this more for local people, since it's more of an informal thing. We could have a REAL meet here next year sometime, since we're pretty much in the middle of the country.

This could be more like a "meet and greet and see if we can blow up baron's supercharger/engine/transmission/etc" meeting. haha

By the way Larry, I checked out your NX-01. That thing is SWEET! I have a question though, where did you get your mini-ITX computer and LCD screen setup? I'm a computer super-geek (man, sometimes I hate admitting that), so having a computer in my truck would be perfect. I am literally surrounded by computers at home, if I could have one in my truck too, I'd be in heaven. A supercharger is cool, but a computer is waaaaaaaay cool. :)

I got the PC from a member here (Robc). It's an Industrial Flower Factory tower, I think it's the bronze package if I remember right. The Lilliput LCD touchscreen is from Digitalww.com, and the custom console was done by "Trac Customs" (Ryan Eylander, member here)

I think I can do that. Has anyone decided WHERE we're going to meet yet? Dave & Busters? I will need a reminder before the meet though because if it's not written down or tattooed on my body, I tend to forget it.

I'd really like to check out your computer. That would be something I'd LOVE to have in my truck. Currently, I just have an mp3/wma/CD player. It does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well, but it's really not enough for me anymore.

I'll be in Rolla for homecomming for UMR the last weekend of September/first of October. A sunday mid-day meet may be doable for this Arkie/former St Louisian....
