I am a Federal Employee. In the past I have pretty much turned in my Military Leave for pay as I do my Military Drills/time on my days off. Thus, not using any leave.
Our agency went to a different payroll system and now Human Resources is telling me that I need to turn in dates to justify my time and then they will allow me to turn in my excess Military Leave.
I know and can find in writing that we can have 30 days a year max, (normal circumstances, non-emergency situations). Well I am not going to use my 15 days this year. If they do not allow me to turn in 15 days then I will not be able to get the next 15 that are due to me.
What I am looking for is the reg that says I can turn it in for pay. I have seen it, I just can't find it.
Any help would be great.
THANKS!!!
