Missing Parts??

I found this part (see link) under the passenger side back seat while cleaning (03 Sporty) It was near where the support leg for the seat is.. is this a part of my truck or just someing that someone had dropped?? I have been having issues with my seats locking down but I don't know if it is related..

Although I do not recognize the part, it could most definitely be part of the locking mechanism for the seats. With the catch at one end I would think it has to do with the latch somehow.



I'd be going to Ford as they have got some liability on this one.

Don't know what it is but I had two or three of them back there laying around. No help I know, but you are not alone.

thats the pin to hold the hard part of the seat that fold over the back edge when the seat is folded down. so you can work without holding the back portion up. mine came with it also and looked at it and the area it was around and came to that conclusion there is holes for it to slide into on the back panel try to post a pic later.
