My moonroof doesn't work. It just retracts slightly back and forth. It appears my roof is dented which is inhibiting the full movement of the moonroof. (I have concluded the roof is dented based on appearances of other ST's). Any tips or advice on removal of the headliner and straightening out the dent on the roof. The dent is slight but it is there. Thanks in advance for the wonderful collective wisdom of this group.

The interior more or less has to be taken apart piece by piece to get the headliner out. It's not difficult just time consuming and a LOT of pieces.

Sun visors, grab handles, dome lights, roof console if equipped, seat belt loops front & rear, back panel trim to get the rear corner pieces out. Passenger seat has to be removed since the headliner comes out the right front door.

The glass panel may just be out of adjustment.
