My New 2007 Sport Trac

I got my New Sport Trac on June 17th. It is a Limited with all the bells and whistles. It is Silver Birch with Black interior. It has a Moon Roof, Power Back Window (yeah!!!!!) Tonneau Cover, bed cage, you name it. 4WD with V8 and I love it!!!



The power back window works just like the old Sport Trac's but it is a button on the overhead console now instead of a turn knob on the dash.

thbrooks ......man that is what I want mine to look like! I too, like the Silver Birch color, but I am iffy if I want the interior that color...it looks real cool, but I have a gray interior on my 01 ST, so I probably won't go that way next time I get the new 07/08. Wish they had more choices on the interior, but that is the way Ford does it! Congrats on the look! I:wub: it!

It is a limited. I have a friend with a truck accessory shop. He installed the Westin bull bar and lights for me. I know they have chromed bug shields, but I thought the smoke colored one accented the bull bar better and calmed down all of the chrome.



As to the dark interior, I am finiding it very easy to keep clean. You don't get shoe scuffs on the kick panel trim, hand prints, etc. Much better than the light tan (other option), as it shows everything.



I appreciate all of the compliments, but admit choosing a color was Damn tough. But I am very pleased with how the interior color, chrome accents, and wheels look with the Silver.



The buttons for the Power Moon Roof and Power Rear Glass are side by side on the overhead console area. They are very convenient and easy to use.



I have no complaints. You can always hen pick and find little gripes about anything, but this vehicle so blows away the old Sport Trac in every way, comfort, quietness, power (V8), etc. If you don't need a huge bed for work, i don't know why anyone would buy a larger truck (F150,Silverado, etc.) now that this vehicle exists. It is the best of both worlds to me (Utilitarian yet Classy). I can take it to the Mountains, yet still pull up at the country club in it.
