OMG another nail in the coffin for the American Economy...j/k

I looked at (and drove) comparable models, small SUV, and minivans from:

Ford, Chevy, Chisler, Pontiac (HAH!), Mazda, Honda, etc...

None of them even came close for the price. Had my eye on a Honda Odyssey but it was over 32K. Considering I traded an 05 Honda Civic for it I didn't really cause any more damage... I just kept my part of the status quo. ;)

Nice car. I was looking at one of those when I bought the wife a Santa Fe. But I really like how they have improved the interior.

I have always liked the Murano, but I wish they had a slightly smaller version of it.

How do you like the CVT?

Rocks

MTU...check out the Nissan Versa. It looks almost like a miniature Murano in my opinion.

Congrats on the new ride Blert. Very nice purchase!

trunk3d -- I do like the Versa, it just came out too late for my last car purchase. I bought a Toyota Matrix. I love that thing.

Rocks

blert, in my opinion, the murano is a great choice in that catergory. good luck !

How do you like the CVT?

So far I like it much. No shifting at all, just constant pull. T'is a beautiful thing. The new Altimas have it too and that is one fast and smooth driving sedan.

I really do love this thing and have wanted one for a long time. Got dual DVD headrests installed last week. Front window tint is next then I will probably add other stuff to it and mod it later down the road.

Gray S ... The wife would not allow me to take a 350Z for a test drive. :( I would have to have been surgically removed from it once I got inside. ;)

blert, my wife at one point said maybe we should trade the 350z for a murano,( thats how much she likes them ). then i reminded her, that she will never be able to get back into a sports car again, because thats what she wanted for her birthday, she changed her mind !

also the cold, crappy long island winters don't help, so when spring rolls around she can use the 350 full time. but as mentioned, great choice and great colour.

sst, lol, i am waiting for the import bash as well !! btw, thanks for the head/fog light protectors, still in the box !!!, waiting for the temp to get above 40 !

We looked at the Murano's last spring. I liked them but we settled on the RAV4 with the 6. Better gas mileage and a little quicker. I do like the Muranano's style.
