I'm throwing this out there, not even sure if I want to sell it but need a daily driver for my wife and I figured I'd try this route to see if I get any bites. It's a 1987 GMC Sonoma 2 door, 2.5 litre (built up) was told over 300 H.P. when motor was built (yes that's a 700 Holley on a custom 4 barrel intake), 4 speed manual trans., was built for drifting and showing, lowered, custom paint, matched interior, Signed by "Chip Foose" at last years World of Wheels (Pittsburgh) where I won Best In Class. Every show that I've taken it to I've won 1st place, Best in Class. I have alot of photos, plaques, trophies, etc. Every nut/ bolt has been taking apart from this truck and painted/ chromed/ polished, etc.. Over $25k invested in truck. The irridescent silver flames cost $5k alone. The only thing it needs is a clutch slave cylinder, a couple rips on the bench seat fixed and a tune up and as a typical Holley, it needs rebuilt (new gaskets). I was going to put it up for $9k or possible trade for nice ST. I need to get my wife a daily driver and since I'm not working currently we don't have the money to go out and get something now. Some of the pics looks pink but it's red.

Nice,,Im amazed that you can tune it to use a 700cfm holley. Unless it is cammed and valve springed for real high rpm's.

With out the custom paint. It would be a sleeper.

It's got the internals all matched, cranked/pistons/rods/cam/lifters,etc.. The intake is 1 of 400 make by S-S, Clifford. Not exact sure on specs on inthe whole motor, the guy that built it spent $6,500 on it and showed me the dyno sheet, reciepts and breakdown of the motor but wanted to keep them for future reference.

DON'T do it......

I regret to this day selling mine........ and yours is complete.... All I had was the paint left to do...

I know but I may not have any other choice. She needs a truck to get to work. I'd like to find a ST for her, she takes her 84yr old grandma out and to the doctors so she needs the room. She really doesn't want a car, thus another ST would be perfect.:(

Yeah, she's active as he'll for as old as she is, out everyday going to dollar stores and everwhere. She hates sitting in the house, she can even climb up in my ST with alittle help. Both my wife and her grandmother hate cars, "too low" they say.:D
