Looks nice, but tell your son to lose that smoked license plate cover. That's only an invitation to get pulled over. When cops are bored they'll use any excuse. I come from a police family, trust me. Stay safe:)

He is going for the "Panda" look,,, black and white......... He plans to drop it 2 inches after he gets his new wheels.

Jimmy, we got it for 18K, factory wheels, but he's going to "upgrade" soon.... Rota Slipstream......... BTW, MS Photostory software

Looks great.

Two friends of mine have the FIT. One dropped his 2 inches and tucked some 18s. The other didn't lower his and put 20s on it.

Did he pick up the Sport edition of the Fit? My friend has an 07/08 fit in the sport edition, and it came with spiffy things like an aux in, and cool toys (IMO) like paddle shifters, but during that presentation, I didn't see the paddle shifters, so I'm wondering.

I've still never been in the backseat of the Fit...I don't think I would fit, but I don't think it is fit to try and fit my bias onto the situation without actually checking if I do, in fact, fit.

Does the fit come with a manual transmission? I know the 4wd/awd versions (why?) are japan only, but I've still never seen a manual one.

Sadly, my friend refuses to do any handbrake sliding or really aggressive driving with his Fit :(

Maybe it's because I talked him out of doing such with his Explorer XLS, since it had automatically engaging 4wd, but I doubt it.

BTW, those were some high-res pics. What MP was the camera you used for that?

The fit is already so tragically low; how on earth can you drive it with it lowered 2 inches. I can't imagine that the handling would be that much better. It's still not that powerful, and FWD.

KL:

Sport Edition.. (loaded but no nav) It is a 5 sp, so no paddles.. I'm 5'10" and 225, and I fit real comfortable in the back seat. A lot more room than you expect. Actuall the kit is 1.5 inches. Only seen pictures but it sure would look nice, I think. The driving response on this car is awesome, a little bit lower, it would be on a rail...:D Here is a pic of a FIT lowered.

My camera is a Sony DSC-S85 4.1 megapixel. I have it set to take pics at 2272 X 1704. love this camera, It's almost like having a 35mm, I can adjust almost everything, speed, Fstop, but not the focus.

Hmmm, the car lowered doesn't look that low. Maybe it's just how it looks in the picture, because I remember my friend's being much lower, but his is a darker color, so it has less contrast with its underbody shadow.

The ULTR (I forget the english name) of the flippy seat system was kinda spiffy. Maybe if my compadre here wouldn't baby his so I could see what it can actually do. Can it impress me more than the escort? I doubt it, but I'd like to see it get its chance.

I guess I didn't pay enough attention to the shifter

Im not sure why but i am only getting some three doors down audio when I use the link and no video. Could be because im on a mac. anyone else have the problem?

well nice car and great gas mileage he's getting, seems like ur son likes jdm stuff and its going for da style NICE. spoon is a company out of japan that make high performance parts for honda/acura

Man, am I ever out of the loop. I read the subject line, and thought this was going to be about someone's kid throwing a temper tantrum...

I just tried FF and no video,,, I have no clue... It worked before?:huh:

I tried FF again and double clicked on where the video should be and it came up in it's own window.:unsure: then double clicked it again, and it went to where it should be... oh well..........
