Rousch will be a hard seell to switch from Ford. Ford gives them WAY to much money to be anything but the #1 team for any manufacturer.

Penske? Has all but said that 2009 will be Toyota to match his F1/Indy teams, as soon as his Dodge contract runs out in 2008.

Waltrip...decent enough driver with good equipment. Basically, he's jus f^^ked up his whole season and a good chance as scewing up at least the beginning of next year's season. 100 points in the hole, virtually no chance of making it into the D-500, having to race his way into the bottom 7 positions not guarenteed to a particular driver.... good luck. There are 50+ full-time teams and anywhere from 2-20 part timers that will show up at each race this season. Some of the part-timers are well-funded teams (expect a 4th Evernham, 5th Hendrick, 5th RCR, 3rd Yates, 6th Rousch, 4th DEI and 4th MB2/MBV/Ginn teams at some point this season).

Waltrip took responcibilty as the driver and the owner. He did not do the deed. It was probably some lacky crew member trying to help. His crew cheif is responcible for the crew and the car chief was responsible for the car itself. Makes sence they were both suspended. The question will be weither or not either of them will ever be seen at a NASCAR track again.... EVER.

Toyota? I don't seem them dominating. The gene pool for talent is only so deep. They can't hire everybody. They are starting at NOTHING. NASCAR will also make sure there is "parity" (a joke) by allowing Ford, GM or Dodge to make a change that Toyota will not get to level the field. It's happened before (Ford won enough races in 2005 that GM and Dodge were allowed to change noses, etc).

I am ready for the season to start!! The COT? POS. Oh well, when did they ever ask the fans or the drivers about where to take the sport anyway?

Jack Roush has been quoted saying he is going to kick the snot out of Toyota.

Time will tell.

Honestly, NASCAR is not really racing. The engines are almost identical.
