Need Consol lid replacement HELP!!!

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a 2001 gray consol lid replacement without shucking out $150. bucks to the Ford stealer??? (uh... dealer...sorry)

What is wrong with your lid?



You can remove the vinyl covering if cracked or torn, and replace it with a few dollars worth of fabric. I did mine with micro-fibre found at a local fabrics store, and there's online sources if you don't have one of those close.

Materials such as epoxies to fill stripped screw holes, and JBWeld to deal with broken metal parts can also go a long way in putting off replacing the whole lid.

I bought one of these on eBay. It was a very easy, cheap way to recover my cracked console lid.

30 minutes, $5-$10 of material from a local fabric shop, and do it yourself. Very simple to recover on your own. (Not to take away from sponsors, but this is an easy project that really can be done at home).
