No. The offset is different between the Explorer and the Sport Trac.

When shoping for wheels. Gen 1 tracs have, 7" wide wheels with +12mm offset.

Hope that helps when you shop. You can use different sizes, widths and offsets. But you need to use the oem info. To determine how the new ones will fit under the fenders.
