and as far as air bags i had some installed back 04 with on board compressor and to this day they work amazing and moved my gauge many times and no leaks, i run 50 psi running around but with trailer i boost to 80ish and it will change my lift about a 2 inches from 0 to 80, not a bumpy ride either.
I think the rear end on the 07 is very different from the o4. I can’t seem to find air bags for the 07. Maybe it has to be one of those air bagged struts(??). I’m not mechanically knowledge so forgive my ignorance regarding suspension types!

Can’t wait to see yours when your finished, welcome to the ST Family

they are vehicle specific and mine was air lift, it looks some what basic with a plate then bag, i was sharing the durability of them, they have worked great for 17 years and i had to get them to compensate for my lift as they removed springs. again they look basic as one could easily fabricate it but eyesight's going with age so i could be way off.

Thanks so much! Always liked these vehicles. Glad to have one.
Just picked it up from the shop. Got a new driveshaft, right front axle, right side exhaust manifold, stabalizer link kit. Put all new cross drilled rotors and ceramic pads on it.
Now I’m getting oil change done. Picked up a drop in K&N air filter and my new led headlight and fog light arrived. And my new gloss black grill arrived as well. This weekend going to spray tint the tailights( new led bulbs for them too!). Might even have a line on some 20” rims! 😎🤔

Thanks I’ll check out air lift. Can’t remember the brand but I had some on my old 08 f150 and they made a huge difference with heavy loads in the bed.

Just scored a set of 20” rims for $200. They fit nicely. Not sure what the offset of these are. I think they will sit a little bit further out than the stock 18”.
I think they are an older rim made by Incubus but for just $200 they’ll do for the time being while I search out the perfect 20’s. They are black with a strange red outer rim edge. 🧐
These may become my winters if I buy another set later on. I’ll post some pics when I get them. They need sanding and repainting of the red painted outer edge

Aftermarket wheels are the way to go. My original alloys were pitted and bubbling near the hub area. I went with Vision Warrior wheels same 17" size, but 8.5" wide instead of to original 7" wide wheels. Offset slightly pushes them out. Wrapped them in Continental Cross Contact tires. Ride is far better than stock, very quiet tires as well.

They look nice on your truck! Do you know what the offset is on your rims?
Mine came with 18” rims with an offset of 44, which I think is the factory offset for the 17” rims also. The 20” rims on the Adrenalin are a 35 offset and sit nicely on the ST’s!

Interesting wheels, agree they need a some sprucing up. Have you considered powder coating at home? Fairly easy to do. Lots of color choices available, including a splatter gold effect. Not 100% sure of the offset on my wheels, does 18 make sense? See the screen grab.

20 inch wheels for 200 is a steal, i agree with mike on doing yourself way cheaper, i use wheel paint and can put mine back to chrome, nice wheels on top of cheap, i have been looking at the vision warrior for some 16 tires i have laying around, they have gone way up in price from a year ago.

I like that dark cherry, or whatever they call it. It just needs the better wheels to make it stand out (same as my black '08). I've got my eye on the Edge Sport wheels, really like those, probably in the 22' variety.

Thanks I’m working on these cheapo rims to make them look a bit nicer. Sanded them down and sprayed them out with a gloss black. Will wet sand, polish, clear coat and polish again. Hopefully they will look ok when done. Here’s what they look like so far. The small silver nuts are still masked off until clear coat is done.

Got my grill delivered the other day so I had to put it on right away. Gotta sand and paint the chrome hood strip black to match. Then install 3 amber led lights.
Anyone know how to wire these grill lights to come on with my headlights? Thanks

Speaking of tinting Front windows DARKER....have you ever driven at Night with dark tint ?I had a 2003 ST that had them....it FREAKED me out ! ALL I could see when looking out drivers side window was the reflection from the dash-lights.Heaven help anyone walking across the street when I made a left hand turn. Lowering the window was not an option...it was the ONLY way to see ANYTHING to the left. It is an accident WAITING to happen. DONT!

if you do not drive very much then i could see issues adapting, the few times i have driven a rental car with no tint is dangerous in my opinion, i travel a lot, and there is nothing like having cars behind you, with the newer lights they have now on vehicles blinding you from side mirrors that are set to see behind you and in rear view mirror. i was on a radio show back in 80s in arizona on tint issues where i owned a tint shop and most of the calls were older people who have never had tint saying same as you and now that i am older, way older, they are even more important to have as bright lights make me see blind spots longer, a shadow is easier to see with no bright lights blinding you.

I have “matched” tint on my front doors and every time I drive my wife’s car that doesn’t have tint, I feel like a big under a magnifying glass because she doesn’t have tint.

Its called Black Cherry.... Adren parts are obsolete, Rims are almost completely gone. NO taillights ever were made..... Your basically stuck with what you got. Or buy an adrenalin. By black truck is a "look a like", bout as far as you can get.
