New exhaust pictures

I made a few changes to the exhaust system yesterday. I had the routing changed from the side to a rear exit, and had a new tip installed. The exhaust tip is a Hooker stainless dual resonated tip. I was suprised at how much the tip reduced the exhaust volume. It was a bit obnoxious before (hard to carry on a conversation in the cab at certain engine speeds). Now it's got a nice mellow sound. Please ignore the dirt.

Looks good Todd C. I just got mine done on Fri. (after waiting a whole month) and used a flowmaster resonated tip (looks exactly like yours) and ran it straight out. I like the look and love the sound of those tips! Mine sounds like a V8 when its idling. It's great.



The only problem with mine is the tip was damaged during shipping. Small dent at the end of one of the tips. Not enough for me to send it back. This summer I'll work on it to get it out. No biggy.

Looks good, Todd. What size tip did you use? What are the inlet and outlet sizes?

2.25" In 2.5" Out. That was actually the only size that Hooker makes in stainless.
