Well, I got the new tires I needed after the body lift. I went with 265/75R16 Sport Kings. First impressions are very good. From what I read, they off road and clean mud better than the BFG ATs. The tread is more aggressive than similarly priced 265s and the side siping is pretty impressive. I'll update as soon as I have time to hit a trail.

Highway, of course they are a little noisier, but I learned to drive in a '69 Cougar with a 4bbl 351W, a couple months with no mufflers. A little tire noise is more soothing than annoying to me. They feel waaaaaaay more stable than the p.o.s. Wranglers that were on there. And my speedometer is actually correct, now!

And the best part is, they are a Michelin brand (which I learned BFG is now, too). They are 2 ply sidewall instead of 3 like the more expensive BFGs and Michelins, but I don't plan on having any heavy loads, so that should work just fine. I'll try to post pictures later today.

There are more in my library.

Looks good Hugh !!! JMO but it needs a TT of 1-1.5" to balance out. It'll help with nose dive and cornering. :supercool::banana::driving:

Thanks guys.

Dave - I don't think I'll have to worry about "heavy" snow in Georgia, but I do get off road a good bit.

Jerry - It would balance out the front ride height if I did a TT, but besides that and a little more front clearance, I don't see any other positives to outweigh the negatives of a TT. Looks are not enough to make me want to do it and I actually don't mind the rear being a bit higher than the front. Cornering has never been an issue as I drive pretty slow on the road and never push the ST, especially in corners. That's what I have the Cougar for. I can't guarantee I won't change my mind later, though.

Next plans: Westin Sportsman brush guard, PIAA lights (already have, but need the brush guard to install), rear sway bar quick-disconnect. Any other cheap project recommendations?
