Transmission flush and change the lube in the axles and transfer case (if it's a 4x4).

Fuel filter.

Oil change if you don't know when it was done last.

New shocks if the ones on it look to be original.

Flatlander11,

Welcome to the site!

It is highly recommended to use Motorcraft OEM plugs or Autolite plugs. And, use MOOG Problem Solver front end links which come in a AutoZone box with AutoZone part no. In addition to what was mentioned above, clean the Idle Air Controm Motor (see projects / maintenance). Replace the serpentine belt too.

Welcome to the Site....

there are a lot of maint projects you can do for little to no Money.

some of the stuff that costs are great for saving fuel and keeping things running the way they should.

Tune-up (changing the Plugs and wires.)

XCAL

Throttle body (modified as onlyZabteck can do) Need to know if it is a Job 1 or Job 2

Larger Exhaust

these will help the vehicle in many ways.

Post a few Pics, I am sure we all want to see..

Thank you for the welcome. The power lock on the drivers door wasn't working so I'll pick it up when the dealer calls. It sounds like I might have a little work to do when I pick it up.I'm not familiar with some of the terms(XCAL,Zabteck) but I'm going to learn.I am actually looking forward to wrenching on it.
