I will put in my 2 cents... there have been 6 maulings of people in the last year in Albuquerque by pit bulls. They are a dangerous breed no matter what you say. Those other dog attacks are few and far between. I had a buddy that was mauled by a Weimeriner, but have had 4 friends mauled by pit bulls... Case closed. They are not suitable for house pets...
