The way I look at it, whomever wins is the better team and the better team should win. If the Pistons beat the Cavs, I could care less.
I have a neighbor that is into Football. She is a big fan of the Browns. I try to explain to her that if the Browns play bad and lose, you should be mad at the Browns for playing like a bunch of Pee Wee Football kids. If they played hard and lost due to some bad calls or just dumb luck, you have a right to be upset.
I personally do not like any NY/NJ teams. NY Yankees...Boooo. NY Knicks....Boooo. NJ Nets....etc. Etc. I just do not like NY/NJ teams.
I hope to see Cleveland win the championship. I would love to see the Indians win the world series. I know I also will never see the Browns win anything impressive.
As for your comment about me having issues, you seriously need to look in the mirror.
Anyone that makes a comment like...
the nets have the talent and experience !
they should have won , but as i said they gave it away by not follwing thru.
And then pretends you never said anything like that is in denial and needs serious help.
They have talent and Experience. Ok...great. They should not have won because they did not score more points than the Cavs did.
Remember, the game is about two teams playing by the same rules on the same level playing field. The team that scores the most points is deemed the winner of that game.
If you play by the same rules and do not score as many points as the other team, you are not the winner.
The Nets were unable to score more points in 4 out of 6 games. That means the Nets did not play as well as the Cavs did and therefore did not deserve to win. The playing field was level so experience and talent did not overcome the fact that the Cavs scored more than the Nets did.
Because of that, the Cavs are a better team than the Nets are.
As long as the Pistons are unable to score as many points as the Cavs do and as long as the playing field remains level, the Cavs will be the better team. If the Cavs do not score as many points as the Pistons do and the playing field remains level, then the Pistons are a better team than the Cavs are.
If the refs give one team an unfair advantage over the other, even if it works out in my teams advantage, I disagree with it and will not be happy with the results.
That is the way things should be.
