Noise at first startup in the morning

Hello all,



I have an 02/manual tranny.



When i first start the truck in the morning, as i release the clutch it makes this odd sound. Almost like a metallic squeeking sound. It did it since i can remember, but moreso recently. It only does it when i first start up in the morning though, then every subsequent start thereafter throughout the day is normal.



Has anybody had the same experience?

No need to apologize for being facetious, as we have all done it from time to time.

I'm going to say throw-out bearing, and 90% of our members will probably agree.P.S., Conrad, You're not trying to give us some kind of "Covert" test, are you !

Sounds like the throw out brg....

Could be the piolet brg, But either way not to severe... Change them when it is time for a clutch..
