Sold and fabricated PCB's that are now on the moon (on the rover), on ALVIN, the deep submersible, that found the Titanic, as well as many, many Military Applications. Ex wall street trader turned actor bartender, now just bartending. Want to get out but the economy won't let me. :smile0001:

I am an engineer in the auto industry. Specifically, I am what is referred to as an "NVH Engineer". NVH stands for "Noise, Vibration, and Harshness". I am also sometimes referred to as an acoustic engineer. The company I work for produces carpet and other sound insulators and my job is to develop and test them.

Machinist (retired last week) but still tinker at home. Can make just about any small part, lots of gunsmith work around here.

I am an assistant Project Manager for a land developer in Orlando. Located in South east city of Orlando, Lake Nona. My last project for those that know the area, was overseeing construction of the 80 million dollar Burnham Institute for Medical Research, located right next to the new UCF College of Medicine.

Now, I am widening Narcoossee Road from SR 417 to the County line at Boggy Creek Road. It's currently two lanes, we are making it 6 lanes with a median.

We are waiting for the economy to pick back up and people to start leasing spaces again, and I will then go back to building vertical, which I find more interesting than road work, but definately needed the road work experience, so its a good thing. And I still have a job, so that is good too.

bill,

:smile0006:

good one

i just remembered, at the young age of 15, i had a two year career as a "petroleum transport engineer" :smile0007:

I work full-time in the Parts Dept. at Downtown Ford in Sacramento,CA and part-time with UPS loading and unloading airplanes at Mather Field.

I worked as an EMT and paramedic for a municipal department for 27 years and retired four years ago as an assistant chief. While working as a medic, I went to nursing school. The two careers overlapped for seven years and now I do nursing.

Inherited the family business 4 years ago. Now I own a local landmark eatery, and a couple of rental properties. This is a good thing, as I REALLY didn't enjoy working, let alone working for someone else. I've had all kinds of jobs throughout the years... Many of those jobs would pay off later as skills learned while doing them pay off now.
