Oil Filter Study/Comparison

Here's something I found that I thought would be of interest to many here.



Different types of oil filters were cut open and the innards measured and described.

wix is the only way to go

Stay with Ford filters. They are good and won't void your warranty should anything happen.

That's why I use only Mobil 1 filters... (OK, I do save a few bucks and use a Pure One filter on the John Deere...)

That site has been around for a while and they have not updated it for at least a couple of years. I know because I've been waiting for them to publish results for the Bosch and K&N, two filters I regularly use.

I avoid Fram filters and change my oil once a year.
