Oil Filters

I just finished changing the oil & filter on my 01 Trac and got to wondering. Does anyone know of a larger filter that will fit.? I used the PH-8A ford filter on a Audi I once owned and it fit fine with a much larger capacity. There is plenty of room under there.:unsure:

The PH8A is a SAE thread filter. Some earlier 4.0's used the SAE threads also and can use this filter. Later 4.0's used a metric thread and I do not know of a larger filter being available. Your's may be able to take the SAE threaded filters. I know that the '03 can't use it.

ur better using a ford motorcraft filter than a fram. if u want a good filter i'd go wit the mobile 1. just as good as a K&N filter but a lil cheaper
