Okay, so this is a shot in the dark, but I want to help as much as I can. Here in Central FL there is an organization, Pet Rescues by Judy, that rescues animals from all over (animal control, strays, etc.) and they are in despirate need of any help they can get. The problem is that the county rezoned their area and they have been forced out of their property and have no where to go and no homes for the rescued animals. They are asking for ANY help they can get - foster homes, money, land, housing, and so on. I believe they have shut down the website below for adoptions and are strictly searching for help at this point.

I have met and Judy and her associate J.P. and they are the wonderful, as are the animals they rescue. If you live in Central FL you may have even seen them at a local PetSmart. They have been on many major networks promoting their cause and have saved countless numbers of our furry friend's lives. If I had the means, I'd take every last one of them in, but I can't. So I'm reaching out to see if anyone here knows any avenues for help. Please feel free to cascade this information to ANY organization or person you know that has a soft spot for animals. Every little bit helps.

Thank you in advance, from the bottom of my heart.

Josh, I'm sure anything at all will help. If you go to the website above and then click Go to: www.petrescuebyjudy.com it will take you to a page that will direct you to the adoptable pets. I was looking earlier and there are some awesome animals on there that need homes. I just don't know how my little ones will take it, ya know? I am definately going to send a little money, I don't have much, but I think I could cut a few fishing trips at the very least to help out.

Jenn...will they ship the animals to houston...we have been looking to adopt an adult Hymalayan cat...we lost ours 2yrs ago to illness...she was 13...she was an adult when we adopted her her and I geuss it is the breed...she took up with us with ease...

We havent found any here other than folks wanting $400 to $500 for a kitten....

Eddie, I honestly have no idea. I am sure something can be arranged if they really need to find homes for these animals. There's a link to a Hymalayan cat they have that was found as a stray below. I can call Judy or J.P. tomorrow and see what they say. I sure hope they can find a way. Maybe they know someone that's driving out that way.
