Hey all, I am doing some home renovations... mainly a new kitchen and knocking down a few walls, or atleast cutting them to stub walls. Anyways, I have electrical coming from the ceiling, which I suppose is normal, but now I have to move 2 light switches, move a 220V stove power, and some other stuff...

Is there anyone out there that knows of a good site that talks about relocating home electrical?

Thanks

could try www.DIY.com

OR a good do it your self place... BUT it is not that hard to do at all... Especially if your just relocating or extending or moving, Just some boxes, wire, wire nuts and new outlets and switches...

There are some DIY books on some limited house wiring. I have a small book that is pretty old but is very detailed about home, and farm wiring. Rerouting wires and switches is fairly easy.

Like the others have said it's easy stuff, but I just completely ripped out my kitchen and remodelled with new floors, cabinets, appliances, granite.

If you have any specific questions don't hesitate to ask. I do all my own plumbing and electrical, and I relocated my ovens which you seem to be contemplating.
