just wanted to warn everyone, actually just wanted to get something off of my chest. under the circumstances/ in hindsight i guess it was foolish of me to trust anyone over the internet, but seeing as i've been a member of this site since i first bought my ex sport 5 years ago and am now making my final payment on it next month and with the relationship that i have built with a couple of good san fran bay area tracers i've met from this site you guys all seem like good people especially with how the site is run and the general protocol that is upheld. beware of some guy on here named vin loccisano of somerville, ma . he allegedly was selling a foglight on the swap and sell back in july. foolishly trusting someone on this site to be an honest person i sent him a check a few days later now its almost two months later and many emails asking him or her to show some good human quality and mail me the foglight i believe i have been officially ripped of. big time sucka that i am just wanted to let you guys know i still love the site. be careful of buying stuff on the swap and sell. vin loccisano==== one bad apple.

his member id vlocci:angry:

Dont let one person ruin your trust of this site. There are many great people here. I have personally sold and bought items on here and had great transactions.......

Mark, either send me or post your zip code and I'll give you a list of yards that have the fog light. Also, drivers or passengers side???

His member ID doesn't even come up when searched. I would trust a lot of people on this site but mainly people that are very active and have a long history of posts. (Well maybe not FMarano :D:D)

Mark,

The member's ID is vin loccisano and his full name and address is as follows:

Vincent P. Loccisano

381 Highland Ave

Somerville, MA 02144

He has also lived at

10 ISABELLA ST

BOSTON, MA

He has been a member since 2003, but has only made 3 post.

Perhaps if you write him directly, he might be suprised that you know who he is and where he lives.

There are two other ways to approach this. One is to file a postal complaint of mail fraud if you paid via US Mail. I've not had any luck with this, but they like to keep tabs of the fraudsters and when it starts to get out of hand the USPS comes down on them. The problem is they usually rip people off at a low tolerance threshold where you don't want to be bothered. But if they rack up a bunch of complaints the Post Master goes after them.

Second option is via the Internet Fraud division of the FBI. I don't have the FBI's website for this offhand, but I've been very successful in getting people to respond. You have to fill in a long questionaire with many details about the 'crime'. When I did this, I received my item a week afterwards. I had called and written the guy at least half a dozen times over a period of three months. Whatever the FBI does to encourage these scum, seems to be very persuasive.
