Just thought I'd share a personal milestone that I achieved on Sunday.

Scott and I hooked the boat up to the ST and headed to Sebastian inlet on Sunday. It was windy and the fish didn't turn on until late in the afternoon, but when they did it was amazing. On the day, I caught 3 redfish (25, 28, and 30 inches), 2 short snook, and a personal record 28 inch trout. Combined, it was one heck of a slam. Scott caught a 26 redfish, a couple of jacks, and a very tasty 31 inch snook.

Here's a few pictures.

Very nice fish. I live in Lighthouse Point on the ICW with a boat at my dock. I love to fish but am no expert at it. If anybody in the area ever wants to go fishing just message me.

Kickass, Jenn!

My boat is being repaired right now (boating accident), but it weren't, I would be out in it right now!!!

Here... look.. Nothing like a 20' Skiff driving over you...

What happened:

My brother was following me on Lake Okeechobee a couple of weekends ago, but he didn't see me stop because he was too busy with his GPS.. well, at 30MPH, he slammed into my boat, drove over me (hitting my head and back) and flew over the front... luckily he was at a slight angle when he hit me.. or I would have been raked by the motor:

Actually, his prop is okay.. stainless is the only way to go... and thank god my boat was aluminum... I can't imagine what a fiberglass hull would have looked like after this.

Hey Josh! Long time no see! Glad to hear you survived your brush with death. Looks like you got pretty lucky! Personally, I think your brother deserves a good pop too for being a dummy.

Regardless, you know you're always welcome aboard the S.S. Jenn. Scott and I are probably going to head out to Sebastian again this weekend since we found a few new spots at sunset that we want to try during the day. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we might go for some grouper over in Tampa Bay. We'll see.

When school lets out for the semester, you'll have to come out with us. Until then, don't study too hard!
