Yeah, that's right, this is what our country would look like if each state was renamed after a country with a similar Gross-Domestic Product.

Georgia 2006 estimated population: 9,363,941

Switzerland 2007 estimated population: 7,554,661



Just to level the playing fields. Georgia has almost 24% more people.



Still, pretty interesting right?



Makes you wonder where you Swiss bank account is? (yeah, I know, probably a majority of Swiss bank accounts are held by foreigners, and don't count in GDP).

Hmmm....Minnesota is Norway. If that were the case, would anyone know the difference? Here in Minnesota, people would say, "Well, der's no diff'rence between 'em, don'chya know? You betcha!"
