our new ford escape

My wife and I just sold of our 08 Escape. The quality just was not their. It had rattles everywhere. Went and traded it on the new sport trac. This is my 2nd Sport Trac and you can not even compare the two. The sport trac is one solid and well built truck. The Escape is an economy built SUV on a car platform. Quality is just not their. I do like the way they look and the fuel ecomy was awesome.

i want to do it, but wifey wants to leave them on. i thought it would look better without, but since it is her vehicle, she wins. she fought me on the limited grill, but now loves it.

there is an aftermarket rear roof spoilert that she wants. probably going to do it.

so far, she really likes it

cant really compare the trac vs escape. apples & oranges.

so far no quality issues.

btw, on a side note, very happy with the stock radio,. i always were satisfied with stock ford sound systems.

Gary S, The rear spoiler is a nice add on. Maybe after you get it. She will want the rails remooved. I have seen it both ways. The rails take away from the spoiler.

Maybe you can photo chop it for her....:lol:

We were going to get a Mariner a while back. We decided to get a used Explorer due to issues we were facing. At 181,000 miles, the Explorer is still going strong.

I am sure if you take care of that Escape and change the oil on a regular basis, 200,000+ miles is possible. It is a Ford. They are built to last.
