2001 ST rwd just turned 210000 miles:haveabeer::bougth new feb. 01 three sets of frt brakes one back set and a alt. replaced thats it. needs rear bearings now, will fix for new owner, we're picking up 2007 4x4 ST sat. 12000 miles, hope its as reliable.

So you're saying you never changed the oil or fluids? I'll give you $50 for it.

If it made it to 210K with that little work, you'd be a fool to sell it.

How much did you get for a truck with 210,000 miles on it? Just curious. How you could go through only 3 sets of brakes is amazing. You must live in a completely flat area with little to no lights or stop signs and coast to a stop whenever possible.

I just traded in my 2007 with 50k miles (2 sets of front brakes, 1 rear) the tranny was replaced by ford with a "certified ford rebuild" that had a shudder under light acceleration around 15oo rpm that "could not be reproduced" when they mechanics drove it. After the tranny repair it had no power felt like a 4 cyl in a 5000 lb truck.

Check the stabilizer links on the sway bars, the originals are horrible. Mine completely broke off and were no longer there. I replaced with Moog links and had them loosen up too. Also had problems with the check engine lights for the ignition modules. The whole rack and pinion was replaced also. All under warranty except the sway bar links that i did.

2007 was the first year of the redesign hopefully they worked out all the kinks from then to now and my 2010 will be good.
