Overhead light problem anyone else

Earlier i posted about my overhead light was burned out and i couldn't fix it. i think i found out why. Both of my overhead lights do not work and i thought they were burn't out, but i checked them and they both work. I checked all my fuses last week thinking that was the problem before knowing that they weren't burnt out. What could be the cause of this, because all the other lights in my car work.While I'm driving at night I can not ever find anything in my car, it is very annoying.

Is the switch on??? Is the dash dimmer working??

the dimmer is on and the back dome lights work. Also i got the right bulb out and i cannot get the left bulb out now. I know when it is in the console you turn it to the left, I have tried everyhting and it wont come out, I'm turnning so hard im afraid im going to brake something.

I almost bet the bulbs melted the socket to the light housing
